Make a beautiful scarf in silk AND a 2nd with pure wool!  Held both Friday Sept 27 AND  Sunday Sept 29 in conjunction with the Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival Sept 28-29  in Berryville, Virginia.

We will collect or you can bring leaves and plants from home and learn to naturally imprint them onto silk as well as wool. “Ecoprinting” involves foraging and collecting Nature’s leaves, plants and flowers to imprint directly onto specific fabric or paper. You will fall in love with the unique, all natural designs and colors drawn directly from the gifts that Nature released to you! A beautiful art form. This course is centered around being one with Nature and a new awareness of her natural bounty in your own back yard. Come to create beautiful designs on silk and wool and enjoy the process! You’ll  learn how to prepare the silk and wool and leave at the end of the session with 2 scarves: One beautifully unique silk scarf and 1 thick wool scarf! Participants are welcome to bring and include their own wool fabric from their sheep. Totally renewable, sustainable art! All day with a break for lunch.
