Let's Ecoprint on Leather and Silk and make a gorgeous Crossbody Clutch bag!

This is one of my "Maker's Workshops"  where students learn not only my ecoprinting techniques for leather but also silk in order to create a gorgeous and stylish crossbody clutch bag!

Learning a technique is fun. But leaving with a finished product is just 2 days is even better!

Students will learn how to ecoprint on sections of  lambskin, silk and silk noil to create the exterior design and interior designs for their leather and silk clutch! Ecoprinting (also known as botanical printing) involves collecting leaves, plants and flowers to imprint their images directly upon their leather with techniques learned in the workshop.  AT the end of the two day workshop, students will leave with a finished crossbody clutch and additional ecoprinted leather and silk ready to create additional projects.

Day 1 is collecting leaves at my studio and ecoprinting on leather and silk.

Day 2 is constructing our bags. No sewing necessary!
