This lovely ecoprinted silk scarf has  designs of gingko, grape leaf vines and oak. A combination of leaf tannins causes the images to imprint the surface design. The scarf is 8" x 54" and is pure silk. The beautiful colors are an additional step I do to create the background!


My eco-friendly technique creates detailed shapes and colors of the actual plant matter that I use.

Ecoprinting or botanical printing is foraging and collecting Nature's leaves, plants, fruit and flowers to imprint on different surfaces. The  natural designs and colors are drawn directly from the plant matter.
