A THREE day Ecoprint on Leather Maker's workshop!

 

 

Ecoprint on Leather! Tap into a new area of ecoprinting and learn how to imprint on lambskin and top grain leather naturally and in color in my North Carolina studio! Learn how to select your leather and how my botanical imprinting techniques relate to working on leather. This is a condensed Maker's Workshop where students will not only create their ecoprinted leather pieces but work with my studio tools to learn how to make products with their leather.  Learn about leather, plants, equipment, mordants, dyes, and care of your finished leather. Students will construct a handbag prototype before using their leather to create a finished piece working with rivets, snaps, my Sailrite sewing machines and leather crafting tools. 

This is a condensed version of the 5 day course I teach at John C Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. (Next course there is March 23-29, 2025.)

All supplies are included in this 3 day workshop including the leather, ($75.00 plus value!) Limited to 4 students. Total: $450.00
