Ecoprint and Needlefelt a Wallhanging

A super creative 2 day class!
Day 1: Learn how to ecoprint (also known as Botanical printing) on Silk Noil using the tannins from the leaves to imprint beautiful designs onto the fibers! You will also learn additional techniques to add color into the backgrounds of your designs! Students then take their 18" x 24" pieces home to wash and dry and bring back the following day!
Day 2: Students will learn how to create 1 or more songbirds (cardinal, bluebird or chickadee) on their silk by needle felting the design onto their ecoprinted backgrounds! They will learn how to turn their piece into a wall hanging using supplied dowels to level the piece before attaching to their driftwood pieces!
Workshop is Beginner Friendly.
